Paul Chihara Premiere by Pacific Serenades Sunday, June 6

Film composer Paul Chihara, who is also known as a “serious” composer of music for orchestra, theater and dance, including a term as composer-in-residence of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra brings his newest work, “Woven of Many Strands” to Pacific Serenades concluding season concert at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7 at Neighborhood Church, Pasadena. Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A-major and Haydn’s Piano Trio in A-major fill out the program. Miwako Watanabe, Connie Kupka, violins; Roland Kato, viola; David Speltz, cello; and Edith Orloff, piano, perform.
