A Czarda is a pub, and Czardas is both the dance and the music of the national dance of Hungary that was popularized in many countries of the region in the 19th-century.
A local group that specializes in this music is the Czardas Trio. They will be performing this Friday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Bella Sera Restaurant in Monrovia.
Brian Tiep, mandolin, violin; Rebecca Tiep, mandolin, violin; and Gary Ibarra, guitar, are the artists who will bring out the gypsy in you.
