Clear evidence that the San Gabriel Valley is coming alive with new sounds of music is now apparent given the newly formed group IN FREQUENCY that carries the sub-title “Music, Now and Then”. Co founded by violinist Tereza Stanislav and percussionist Andrea Moore, seven members will perform new, exciting compositions that generally were introduced after 1950
This is a tremendous chance to hear works by Elliot Carter, Gernot Wolfgang, Jo Kondo, Annie Gosfield and Iannis Xenakis. Member-performers have been heard many times in our area to great acclaim by all the local reviewers.
