Pasadena Summer Youth Chamber at Levitt Pavilion July 28
Pasadena Summer Chamber Orchestra is an ensemble of top flight high school and college musicians, many headed toward professional music careers. Its annual concert is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at Levitt Pavilion in Memorial Park, Pasadena. Bethany Pflueger, a top music educator at Glendale Community College and conductor of Opera Pasadena will lead the orchestra as will Chad Prado, music teacher for the Pasadena Unified School District. The program includes the music of Bernard Hermann, Johann Stamitz, Gustav Holst, Felix Mendelssohn and modern British composer Michael Tippitt. Admission is Free.
