Olympia Philharmonic Youth Orchestra at The Huntington Library Aug. 16
The Olympia Youth Orchestra, conducted by Fung Ho, and the Virtuosos Flute Ensemble will perform a concert of Chinese compositions and contemporary works on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 2 :00 p.m. in Friends Hall at The Huntington Library, Art Galleries and Botanical Gardens, San Marino. The orchestra is under the guidance of the Olympia Philharmonic Society which was formed in 1988 by a group of Los Angeles professional musicians. The youth orchestra began in 2000 under the leadership of Ho who serves as both Artistic Director and conductor.
