Saturday Afternoon Concert: Intimate Opera Company

File Foto - Intimate Opera Coffee Kantate flyer 2009The Intimate Opera Company continues to be popular with local opera lovers because they offer a variety of programming with talented singers and musicians. The company surprises again by presenting a program entitled “Koffeekantate by J. S. Bach and Selected Baroque Arias”, and I think subtitled, “Followed by Coffee and Cake” to be held Saturday, Aug. 22 at 2:00 p.m. in Packard Hall, Westminster Gardens, Duarte.
Participating will be singers Constanze Bonelli, soprano; Marco Lozano, tenor; Conrad Immel, baritone. The musical sextet performing will consist of Julissa Bozman and Xaman Kryger, Violins; Alex Bozman, cello; Asuncion Ojeda, flute; Paul Sherman, oboe; and Carol Travis, piano.
Intimate Opera suggests a donation of $15 for adults and $10, seniors. Reservations are requested. Please call (626) 274-7342 for more information and to reserve. Westminster Gardens are located at 1420 Santo Domingo Ave., Duarte.
