Kikkert, Clemensen in Songs of the Here, Now and Hereafter Oct 3

The Intimate Opera Company will present the outfit’s founder and Board President, Wendy Kikkert, mezzo-soprano and David Clemensen, piano, in a program of works by Handel, Brahms, Mahler, Wolf, Copland, Bolcom, Porter, Rogers and Hammerstein, Kern and Bernstein at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3 in Packard Hall, Westminster Gardens, Duarte. The event, titled “Songs of the Here and Now and the Hereafter” is to benefit the opera company’s 2009-2010 season. Donations are accepted, suggesting $15 for adults and $10 for seniors.
