Crown City Symphony Nov 21, 22
The Crown City Symphony conducted by Marvin Newmann continues its presentation of free concerts at the Altadena Senior Center and the First Baptist Church of Pasadena in Altadena at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 and in Pasadena at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.
The program for this concert is Felix Mendelssohn’s overture “Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage; Mozart’s Concerto No. 3 for Horn in E-flat and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 1. Trumpeter Tim Divers will solo in the Mozart concerto. The Altadena Senior Center is at 560 E. Mariposa St., Altadena; The First Baptist Church of Pasadena is at 75 N. Marengo Ave., Pasadena.
