From Renaissance to contemporary, Enlightenment Chamber Music hopes to, well, do just that, enlighten you to what a comprehensive perspective of chamber music might entail at their opening concert at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 27 at Neighborhood Church, Pasadena. They say whether you are a chamber music connoisseur or a newcomer—young or old—this group of fine musicians wants to share their talent and expertise. Marina Manukian and Neil Samples, violins; Andrew Picken and Alma Fernandez, violas; David Speltz and Armen Ksajikian, cellos. The program will include numbers exemplifying romantic chamber music from composers Alexander Borodin, Fleix Mendelssohn and Peter Tchaikovsky.
